zodiac ◊ 2011-02-15 00:41	According to my book about BMW (Rosellen: Das weiss-blaue Wunder) there were some 10.000 501 made 1951-58 compare with roughly 3.000 502 until 1958. Is that of any help?
dsl ◊ 2011-02-15 00:52	Can anyone confirm that this is a big window car? If it is the extra years of 502 big window production may balance zodiac's data to some extent. If this is a small window, then 501 seems much more likely, especially if 502 production started as late as Spring 54. zodiac ◊ 2011-02-15 01:32	This one has a small window. The big window cars rear quarter window almost met the bigger rear window. The problem is that my figures for both the 501 and 502 is for small window cars.
