It is an Army vehicle (or at least it's supposed to be). |

Bedford TK cab on military 4x4 chassis makes it a Bedford MK I think. http://community.webshots.com/photo/40123767/1043196364037420927ORttsF -- Last edit: 2006-06-17 18:20:31 |

The British Army has been using these old-fashioned Bedford 4-ton trucks for years, it's like the British equivalent of the U.S. Army's AM General M-35. They still use them today, although Bedford doesn't exist anymore so they can't buy new ones, I guess they just keep them well maintained. -- Last edit: 2006-06-17 18:42:27 |

I'm not sure if the UK Army still has these in service but I believe Marshalls of Cambridge undertook the spares and replacement business. This was after a company called 'AWD' buying the remains of the Bedford business from GM in 1986. 'AWD' then failed to win the army contract for new business and folded. |

The British Army is definetely still using these, you sometimes see them on the motorway in convoys. |

Nom de code Bedford MK4. Les troupes de l'ONU les emploient aussi. MK4 ne veut pas dire Mk 4 et de chercher les 3 variantes précédentes. MK4 veut dite M K 4tonnes. |
