 That could be a W153, built from 1938 on.

 Nope. W153 was much modern car, without side spare wheels, tiny footstep and wipers mounted under windshield.
The side body's lines, handles' position and flat windshield indicates 1934-1937 Mercedes-Benz 290 Cabriolet D [W18].
