True, but there were aftermarket Eldoraods getting convertible kits as far back as 1981. Some company in Buffalo used to make big bucks doing them. To the administrators, this IS a Cadillac Eldorado. -- Last edit: 2006-06-23 21:05:35 |

It's a 1984 Eldorado Biarritz convertible with a non-original "custom" grille cap [like the one in the link by "firebird86". As soon as Cadillac sold the "last" convertible, in 1976, custom coach builders began making conversions of their own. The demand was such that the company decided to put a convertible back on the books in 1984. |
