Agree very early [901] with short wheelbase; 1965my only 230 911 produced (no 912 yet), 1966my 4865 911 and 6401 912, 1967 about 5200 911/911S coupe, 9325 912 coupe. So, assuming US exports were underway in similar ratios, more likely to be 1966 onwards 912 than 911. Production figures 1968 onwards more complicated, but more 911s made than 912 from then onwards. |

The correct chassis code is [901] for early 911, but [902] for 912. |
