What's the period choice? Daimler or Bedford?? |

Bedford J-type/Lomas, almost certainly. The Daimler DC27 was much more perpendicular, and the cab door of the Lomas body is distinctive. |

"What's the period choice? Daimler or Bedford??" or Austin, or Wolseley or Armstrong-Siddeley or R-R or Buick or.......... Before the NHS hospitals commissioned the construction of their own ambulances, often by the local coachbuilder on large cars donated by wealthy patrons or masonic lodges, frequently second hand. |

Morris-Commercial LC4 or LC5 most likely the body (roof depth, glass sizes and wheel-arch) as here... https://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p157705561/h5284464#h5284464 It has little in common I think with a Bedford J and only a passing resemblance with a Bedford KZ (and it's not a KZ Lomas). |
