1913 White. As I said under the other photo where this vehicle appeared, it may be as recent as 1917, but the paperwork that came with it stated 1913. This truck is a very reliable runner -- I can leave it sit for a year, but with fresh gas and some good strong hand-cranking, it always starts. An item of interest: this vehicle has a hand-made helical-cut phenolic gear which turns the water pump off of the cam gears -- I made the gear myself using a Makita angle grinder -- a championship piece of "back-yard" mechanics... |
