Toyota I'd call it an Auris but maybe called something else in the place of filming? |

I guess it was Auris everywhere, at least in Europa (here it is in Montenegro) |

According to Wikipedia, it's called Corolla hatchback in Australia and NZ, everywhere else it seems to be called Auris. Also, 2007-2009 due to completely red taillights. |

Built in UK for all of Europe? |

IIRC yes. Btw. A propos Japanese cars in Europe: recently I've read, that nowadays 70% of the Japanese branded cars, sold in Europe, are built here. Has anyone checked these details, or have thought about that?. |

Not really surprising if you look at Toyota's range, for example: the Aygo is built in Czech Republic, Yaris in France, Auris & Avensis in the UK, the Corolla in Turkey etc. Another interesting thing is that, IIRC, the Mitsubishi Outlander is built in the Netherlands, while its sister models, the Citroën C-Crosser and the Peugeot 4007 are built in Japan. -- Last edit: 2011-06-08 00:03:56 |

@Ingo: I didn't know it was as many as 70%, but I'm not very surprised. That strategy worked out even better in the USA. |
