Wikpedia says that the "Frontier Navara" name was used in Taiwan, but I found that press release from Nissan mentioning that name for Thailand too: Link to "www.worldcarfans.com" I suppose they renamed it later, since currently on the Nissan Thai site it is simply called Navara. |

Scene set in Burma/Myanmar, but use Bangkok Thailand license plates. (Not filmed in Burma/Myanmar, but Thailand.) The story is, this car was "rented from Thailand". Yes. First promoted in that country as Frontier Navara, because the [D22] is called Frontier, to rename the new [D40] to Navara.
