Other YU-made Zastava AR 51 in a probably locally-bodied wagon(don't have a correspondent body version in Fiat's range),1955-1973(?) |

Zastava seems had built only gasoline-fueled AR 51s,unlike Italians that had the same also in Diesel(civilian) version;the Yugoslav-made Campagnola was called AR 51 but if isn't started in production in 1951(for Yugoslav people name indicates year of 1st 1951 Italian version from which was patterned that built by Zastava);in fact when in Italy Fiat was arrived at 1959 AR 59 series of military Campagnola, that in Yugoslavia was still named AR 51(out of production in Italy since 1955),without evolve into correspondent Italian models, remaining mechanically unchanged until production end(on a book had seen a rare civilian Zastava AR 51,styled as a 5-doors metal roof wagon, with twin-splitted wraparound windshield and six-light body, that don't match with none Italian Campagnolas) |

Great donkey pics! :-) That's a Zastava AR55 Kampanjola, equivalent of Fiat AR55, fitted with HT and assembled in Yugoslavia. Zastava never produced AR51 or AR59, different models of Italian "Campagnola"'s military version. |

This is ex Yugoslav Army NBC reconnaissance variant - Zastava AR 55/NBH (Nuklearno-biološko hemijski = NBC, Nuclear, Biological, Chemical /Warfare/). "Kampanjola" is just a popular nickname, not official Yugoslav Army or Zastava name. It. Campagnola = Kampanjola :-) |
