Canada is the only location listed on IMDB. |
◊ 2006-07-22 23:22 |
Weird. It doesn't look like an American made car. |

I have this film (recently transferred from Original video) ..I believe it's partially filmed in Italy. (BTW ...I think the pics I have are clearer/more colourful/better quality .. Sorry ..I'm Not trying to be funny or Nasty ...Just stating the condition of my copy) |

I've just checked the IMDB...and it doe's say Italy,Panama & Canada.! |
◊ 2006-07-23 02:41 |
That's for the nationality of the production companies. (And the Panamanian company must have been a tax dodge of some sort.) The only filming locations listed are: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0074083/locations -- Last edit: 2006-07-23 02:41:50 |

Toyota or Volvo? |
◊ 2006-07-23 05:39 |
I was thinking Toyota Crown ??? |
◊ 2006-07-23 12:35 |
I was thinking Alfa Romeo or Fiat Note that these lists are sometimes incomplete -- Last edit: 2006-07-23 12:35:37 |

Alfa-Romeo Alfetta comes to my mind |
◊ 2006-07-24 08:20 |
I rotated the image in PS and alot of things look 'right' for it being an Alfetta : http://www.alfagtv6.com/images/italyTrip/alfetta72.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-07-24 08:20:51 |

especially the C pillar looks like Alfa |
◊ 2006-07-24 09:44 |
If the scene take place in South America, could it be a brazilian made Alfa Romeo 2300, which look like a cross between an Alfa 6 and an Alfetta don't you think? http://www.xs4all.nl/~chris/rio.html |
◊ 2006-07-24 09:49 |
I thought it was filmed in Italy |
◊ 2006-07-24 10:55 |
The frontal not seems of an Alfetta. In 1976 the lights were round and bigger, only the Alfetta 2000 since 1977 had rectangular lights, since 1980 also 1.6, 1.8 and diesels had rectangulare phares. And the Alfa symbol? |
◊ 2006-08-01 11:37 |
It isn't an Alfetta. Maybe Audi 100 C1? |
◊ 2006-08-01 12:59 |
Certainly not an Audi 100 up to me |

What do you think of my TI4? http://alfaclassicos.no.sapo.pt/alfa_fnm.html |
◊ 2006-08-01 13:51 |

Looke like a Fiat 132 to me the whole scene is on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7mDXfy2GLA from 4:58 |
◊ 2008-03-16 21:28 |
Something Japanese. |
◊ 2008-03-17 23:10 |
I stil say Fiat 132, just look at this picture and compare the roofline and front. http://www.careos.com/pics/BiblioPHO/net/132_1977.jpg |

I agree. After watching the video, I would say it's a 1968 ( one of the first with its "clap-hands" wipers ) Datsun 510. The rear end is visible and the C-pillar grille also helps to the identification. |
◊ 2009-10-07 02:58 |
It is a 510 no doubt, possible 68 as it has the steel pillar vents,if its got the cross over wipers it definatly is a 68,I own a few of these |
◊ 2009-10-07 03:00 |
yep 68 alright, just tell beside the headlights surrounds |

I think a '69 because '68 ones had got a different and more vertical badge on the grille. |
◊ 2024-11-05 17:41 |
^ you're forgetting one important thing; the '69 had parallel wipers. |
