I thought Walter usually likes Audi's? |

In 1964 he was waiting for Auto Union to become Audi - still another 5 years of frustration ahead before his true love would finally emerge into the daylight and take its frst few steps ... |

Can't find entry details to confirm engine size but 1500 launched Sept 61, 1800 Sept 63, 1800 Ti Jan 64. With Munich plates this could be a works car, so 1800 very possible and 1800 Ti might squeeze in. |

Clip of "Der BMW 1500" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6r65Y3N4uw shows this sequence at about 2.29. The rear badge is on the left of the number plate which I think = 1500 because 1800 badge was on right. So 1964 1500. |

Sorry - change to 1800 because of the chrome side strip (as discussed at /vehicle.php?id=434731 ) and that the badging on the left separation is not reliable. But the badge is clearly not 1800Ti in the clip. |
