Its a Foden I think , unusual as its a 'Chinese Six ' ie 2 front (steer) axles and 1 rear (drive) axle. |

It is a Foden DG, from just before or just after WW2. I guess it didn't start out in life as a Chinese Six; it's probably been converted from a four- or eight-wheeler, perhaps when it became a showman's vehicle. |

I dunno , googling says they were available as Chinese sixes , would it be worth a showman doing such drastic surgery? Foden did briefly make link-steered 6x2 10 tonners in about 1937-1939. DFA 4/10 10-ton 6 wheeler DFA 5/10 10-ton 6 wheeler |
