It seems a Teimoso, the simplified version of Gordini. 1965 In Brazil, the first serie was a Dauphine, 3 speed, 31 HP engine (59-62). It was very soon replaced be a Gordini with 40 HP and 4 speed gearbox. In 64, there was a Government program for simplied versions (which are very colectable if original) and Teimoso was the Gordini, as Pé de Boi was based in VW 1200, Pracinha was the Vemaguet and Alvorada/Profissional were the names for Simca Chambord. |

Location: Santa Therezinha Church (Botafogo), just after the tunnel between Copacabana and Botafogo. At the church side, today there is a huge Shopping Centre, Rio-Sul. |

Not a Teimoso: that version didn't have overriders, no chrome on the bumper nor around the rear window, and it only had one single, central taillight. But the bumper almost looks like a European Ondine version... (I thought all other Brazilian Dauphines and Gordinis had the double bumpers - strange...). |
