Maybe - I just don't know. But we had similar lack of lettering on a Maltese 1969+ 1600E recently. |

Irish spec mk2 generally same in appearance as uk cars, ive just been looking at some photos i took of mk2s at the irish cortina club stand at national cortina day and they showbonnet letters on 68my+ cars. Restored mk2 cortinas exist with later grilles fitted and quite a few cortinas in Ireland have been shipped from the uk in recent years. |
