Production of Polski-Fiat 131p was relatively limited(don't were totally-built as 125p,but CKD-built,with kits shipped by Italy);they were availables only with 1.6 lt.gasoline engines and only in 4-doors saloon body(no SW);when production was dismissed,dies machinery were switched at CKD-plant of Fiat local assembler in Djakarta(Indonesia),where,rebadged as Fiat 131 Mirafiori 1600 were sold down there(Indonesians adding also the wagon,but--named Fiat 131 1600 Station-Wagon,with grille of 1st series and US-rubber-bumpers--get maybe by ex-Tofas Murat 131 Kartal dies-- and modify them as RHD for driving needs;of Polish-Indonesian 131 saloon was built another series,some years later,this time called Fiat 131 CL,retaining old coque),but 1978 Supermirafiori 1600 squared headlights and grille) PS Other ex-Polski-Fiat ended in Indonesia:125p 1300(rebadged Fiat 125p,with MR 75 1975 body),127p(rebadged Fiat 127--1971 body)132p(rebadged Fiat 132 1600 GLS--1974 body) PS Other Fiats CKD-built in Poland:128 3P(1100-1300),130p(overall for Diplomatics needs,but if was built in 1979 a one stretched for 1st visit of Pope John Paul II in Poland),127p(903cc.,1972 body,3-doors,1974-1978 circa build):production figures of assembled Fiat-CKD cars were extimated under 1000 units per annum |
