Ambassador? Metropolitan? o just Rambler? |

Too simple for an Ambassador. Rather a Six or a Rebel. I'm not sure, but I think all Ramblers of 1958 had more prominent rear wings. That will leave 1959 or 1960. What I don't understand are the simple headlights. Perhaps a car released in a state where dual headlights were still not allowed that year? -- Last edit: 2006-08-15 10:27:02 |

The C pillar has got a Rambler look to it, but I cant locate anything with this frontend on it.... I dont think its a USA built Rambler, perhaps Canadian or Australian version. ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-08-15 02:26:21 |

It is a Rambler Six DeLuxe Model 6015 of 1960 : those had single headlights and a split front bumper and were the lowest price Ramblers on the 108 inches wheelbase line. Many of these cars found their way in official and private fleets and in the taxi business |

Year is as indicated 1960 , not 1958. |
