Well, I'm not sure. Hasn't vertical (semi-automatic) gearstick. -- Last edit: 2012-02-11 12:39:38 |

So could this be a DS23? If it is, cannot be a 1972 one. But, being a Made for America one, I have no idea. |

Because vertical gearstick absence it could be just 1972+ DSpecial, also because windshield sealing looks rather black than grey (as usual in DS). |

If "Made for USA", then it cannot be a DS23. DS21s were available in manual as well, and my thoughts are that this is what it is. |

What is the difference between a "Made for USA" and a "Made for CDN"? |

Although Canada has got an advantage in communication with France, I think there is not a difference between the Made for USA and the Made for Canada one. In this case though, the country where the movie was filmed was Canada, so it's a Made for Canada version. -- Last edit: 2012-02-12 03:06:50 |

I can't give Citroen detail, but by 1972 US safety and emissions regulations were more severe than CDN. Many UK makes/models/versions stopped US sales but still sold in CDN for several years; some others continued in both but while lights were altered they sometimes had different formats between US and CDN. |
