I believe it was in the scene where David falls asleep in his car hoping the truck driver would get far ahead of him on the road. The camera pans over the old cars as the wind blows. Beautiful scene for us old car lovers and nostalgic for me as I remember such cars when my family and I would drive around the country on vacations. All gone now. The entire Duel movie is on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBQlw36vjnU The old car scene appears at about the 58 minute mark. -- Last edit: 2012-02-15 04:32:37 |

@cko You may have the 74 minute tv version, the theatrical release was 16 minutes longer. |

That's right. But it is my understanding that the added scenes were the school bus one and the one where the truck tries to push David into the path of the train. Neither of those involved the old car group. -- Last edit: 2012-02-15 18:19:57 |

Some minor scenes as well like when he calls home to his wife. This should be in both, it's a plot point, but nobody should be watching the tv version. No profanity in it either. ![]() |

Agreed. Re-check your version, cko. I'll bet the cars are there! -- Last edit: 2012-10-24 02:25:12 |

Ill go back and watch it. Mine was purchased from Suncoast in the mid-90s and runs 1:31 if that helps determine what version it is. |

If you don't see it, click on my link to the movie online and fast forward to the 58 minute mark. |
