Yes Carmichael body (WrT just an abbreviation for water-tender I guess). Later version here http://www.fire-engine-photos.com/picture/number8106.asp Commer VA Carmichael ('Vista View' being applied as a name could also apply to the earlier body). Suggest QX not VA,one of these type of fire engine, what was preserved-reg-CCC129,what was a 1962 Commer QX water tender,Carmicheal body,had this type of grille,but later ones on the VA chassis had a different larger grille with the Commer name on the grille,not above the grille,allso think VA not built to 1962. |
