Tout au long du film il y a une discussion entre deux des personnages pour savoir si c'est Infinity ou Lexus qui fait un cabriolet. Puis ils découvrent une Infinity cabriolet parmis quelques autres voitures. |

And it's not a Convertible. It's a Saloon (Sedan). -- Last edit: 2005-02-15 17:25:53 |

That's strange, I'll check the movie but I am sure there is an Infinity Convertible, and I think that this one was a convertible. -- Last edit: 2005-02-15 15:26:03 |

Actually it really looks like an Infinity M30, which has a convertible version. |

Infinity s'écrit en fait Infiniti |

Ça explique pourquoi j'ai eu tant de mal à identifier cette auto à l'aide de Google ![]() |

This is not a sedan, and yes, it was and still is to this day the ONLY Infiniti convertible ever produced. There is, however, no way of determining the year of this M30, whether it be a 1991 or 1992 model (as those were the years the M30 convertible was produced and sold). There are two versions of the M30, the convertible (as in this movie) and the coupe. F31CLUB.COM -- Last edit: 2008-01-15 04:39:51 |

Since the Iraqi army went into Kuwait in August 1990, and new car models in the US normally start in September of the previous year, (September 1990 for 1991 models) it would have had to be a truly enterprising Kuwaiti to have managed to import this car (a 1991 model) from the US, and then install an aftermarket alarm and a CD player, THEN allow it to be seized by the Iraqis to be taken to Iraq, and THEN in an ironic twist of fate, have it broken into by an American soldier and then blown up by an Iraqi Soldier. All to the music of Chicago. I really feel sorry for this car... I thought the M30 was cool when I regularly valet parked one for a few years at a condominium in New Jersey in the early 90's, though I found the interior to be alot like a 1987 Nissan 200SX and Maxima. It sure was better than the 85 Ford Tempo the resident ended up with later when he had financial troubles. -- Last edit: 2008-05-17 04:02:32 |
