Looking at the picture closely I'm convinced this is the re-named version... Leyland 15 or 20 1962-1968. Originally introduced in 1958 as the Standard Atlas, Leyland had inherited this van when they bought Standard-Triumph in 1960; it was rebranded shortly after. Later on Carbodies took over production of the range. When UK production ended it was made for some time in India as the Standard 20. Atlas name dropped renamed Standard 15 in September 1962 also longer (by 16") Standard 20 1-ton van and pickup introduced, 84" and 89" wheelbases respectively. Renamed Leyland 15 and 20 September 1963. End of production 1968. -- Last edit: 2018-02-25 20:29:40 |
