Correct...with the rounded-sloping fast-back shape. I'm not all that familiar with Bristols of this type but I guess I would call it a coupe rather than a (2-door) sedan? ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-09-03 13:19:56 |

At the time , it was the only ex-factory body available .Four door Bristols were launched mid-fifties with the 405.In the french litterature it is called a coach ,which is quite correct since it seated four.The British litterature simply calls it a Bristol Saloon. |

Like old Saab 96 that are called sedan but that only have 2 doors (actually "coach" as you said). |

There is no such thing as a Bristol 400 A. The black car in the photo is either a 401 or a 403 - indistinguishable at this range. |
