Looks like a Magirus-Deutz "Eckhauber" or TAM 170, but the headlamps are unusual: /vehicle_60772-Magirus-Deutz--Eckhauber--EH-1965.html /vehicle_395540-TAM-170-T.html -- Last edit: 2012-06-25 21:04:18 |

NASCO had a licence to built Magirus Eckhauber since 1959, and even was allowed to built the 1980 Eckhauber , under the condition to change the front so it doesn´t look like a Magirus anymore! Right in that way it is done here with 1959 design the headlamps could be of the new egyptian Eckhauber NASCO also put the headlamps in the bumpers http://www.magirusdeutz.co.uk/images/DSCN8973crop.jpg -- Last edit: 2012-06-25 22:18:04 |

And for the non-German speaking "Eckhauber" means something like "Hood with sharp corners" (@andrepa, any better suggestion?), as a nickname, thus the full name is something like "1980 NASCO `Eckhauber`" -- Last edit: 2012-06-25 22:30:52 |

Not enough far away to be listed as "origin Egypt"? I would say so. |
