I don't think so. It does look a lot like the Farina Jupiter (that's the official name), but there were only four built, of which two are now un the UK, one in the USA and one in NZ ... none in Italy, but this numberplate looks a lot like an Italian plate. Second reason: the boot handle is different on the Farina Jupiter. I found images of two cars so far: http://www.jowettjupiter.co.uk/farina23.JPG http://www.jowettjupiter.co.uk/farina58.JPG Third reason: the shape of the rear side window looks a bit too angular. Fourth reason: The front wheel-arch has an extra mould followed by an air-vent on the Farina Jupiter: http://www.jowettjupiter.co.uk/farina53.JPG I think that would be visible, if it had been there. The design is so close that I guess this car was also made by Stabilimenti Farina. |
