It has a MAN grille, but is it really one? The front end seems like a mishmash of random parts. |

The front wall design somehow reminds me style of some Italian bus bodies. But after paying more attention to the details, I think it may be just a coincidence. The rest is a bit "Beneluxish"... No idea what it is, maybe really MAN based... |

John Veerkamp's site mentions MAN and Mercedes buses with Yugoslav bodies in Aleppo. The windscreen on this bus looks similar to those on the buses in his photos, but other details are different: http://www.bus-planet.com/bus/bus-asia/Syria/Aleppo/files/frame.html |

But the chassis might be. Like for now we list buses according to chassis origin (with exception when chassis was also made abroad - so for example some Brazilian MB's). |

Also the chassis were built abroad, according to the local regulations of measures and weight-classes. |

They maybe were, but we know nothing (yet) how it was in this case. Till the late 90s MAN was the least "worldwide" manufacturer among the biggest manufacturers. -- Last edit: 2012-09-04 21:24:25 |
