Sorry Richard, but I agree with Junkman...It's a 1500 Cabriolet, due to its large aircooling window on the bonnet, grill type is conform to the 1500 as well. The 1500 cabriolet was introduced in summer 1959 almost in the same time than the 1200 Cabriolet (Salon de Genève 1959)... in 1962, the 1500 became 1500S, then 1600S in 1963, while the 1200 kept the same name Anyway, there is a point that every body of us will certainly agree on: IT IS A SUPERB CAR |

I thought the 1200 and 1500 both had front air intakes. I had a Fiat Cabriolet hard top (can't remember if it was a 1200 or 1500) but it had a Maserati engine. Would be interested to know if anyone knows details of engine options on the 1200 and 1500 cars. |
