This isn't a ZG. G cars have enclosed headlights, no? |

correct... not a ZG. the ZG models have lexan covered extended headlight scoops, and the nose is extended forward to join the bumper (a molded in fiberglass bumper in that case)... thus eliminating the grille area above the bumper entirely. this one is a 1970 (late 1969 production at the earliest) Nissan Fairlady Z. - however... this isn't a 240z, as the "240" refers to the common 2.4 liter 6 cyl. motor that isn't in this car. instead, this is a Fairlady Z 432 as indicated by a "432" badge above the Fairlady Z emblem on the front fender, and the original equipment black painted magnesium wheels. the 432 was a Japanese direct market version only, and was equipped with 2.0 liter dual cam motor with triple carbs. This should be "1970 Nissan Fairlady Z 432". very rare, and very cool. check it out here: http://www.supercars.net/cars/2889.html -- Last edit: 2010-03-12 23:51:13 |
