Most of them seem to be the base model, which is notable, for they don’t come from the factory with all-terrain anti-lock braking system (ABS) or electronic traction control (ETC). All-terrain ABS and ETC are only bundled in an "off road pack" which these do not have. I suspect that has something to do with the stunt drivers and allowing the vehicles to perform stunt work. Its perplexing to me that Land-Rover would sell the Defender without ETC, as it greatly improves off road capability. Without it, the Defender can be hindered in certain off road conditions, due to its front and rear open differentials. ETC should be standard on all models. |

These are all the vehicles playing the silver Land-Rover in Skyfall: /vehicle_520159-Land-Rover-Defender-110-Crew-Cab.html The one nearest the camera is a damage double, and the black frames on the roofs of some of the others are remote driving rigs, allowing an actor to be filmed pretending to be driving while a stunt driver is really driving it. |

2007+ due to "Land Rover" script, but most probably MY 2011 due to product placement. |
