That's a Jeep Grand Wagoneer... I'm pretty sure a Wagoneer is a two door, and doesn't have wood-grain. Either way, I'd say it's a Grand Wagoneer Just wait for JeepWagoneerMan to weigh in on this. -- Last edit: 2012-12-18 08:01:38 |

Glad to see the props department used the era-appropriate green licences plates. Unlike in The Fighter where the movie starts out in the 80's, and the cars all have the red plates even though they weren't out yet. |

That's either a Grand Wagoneer or a Wagoneer Limited, The Wagoneer limited and the Grand Wagoneer both have full wood-grain trim on the sides and tailgate, While the standard Wagoneer just has a wood-grain strip,, The full-size Jeep Wagoneer (SJ) was available as a 2 door from 1963 to '67 but was dropped soon after due to slow sales, The 2 door '63-'67 Wagoneer had the same side window treatment as the 4 door Wagoneers but without doors behind the driver's and front passenger's doors, The 2 door Wagoneer was also available as a windowless panel truck without windows behind the driver's and passenger's doors, And also had double panel type doors in the rear instead of the tailgate and roll down window, Jeep reintroduced the 2 door Wagoneer in 1974 as the original Cherokee (SJ) with almost full length side windows behind the driver's and passenger's doors with flip open front sections as well as a regular tailgate with roll down window, There was never a 2 door full size Wagoneer manufactured in the '70s and '80s, If you'd like to see a picture of what the 2 door 1963-'67 Wagoneer looks like, Go to: www.oldcarbrochures.com and click on Jeep and click on 1963 Jeep and click on 1963 Jeep Wagoneer brochure and just click on the page that has the 2 door Wagoneer on it. |
