This is not a Mk.III but an Austin Healey 3000 Mk.II (1961-62). The Mk.III were convertibles, not roadsters, and had a curved windscreen. |

The front of this car is a late Mk III (separate clear parking lights and amber turn signals). The windscreen may or may not be a Mk III curved windscreen, but it's not clear enough to tell from the photo. Mk II and III windscreen frames were all chrome, while the earlier cars had windscreen posts painted the same color as the body. The windscreen frame in the photo, on the right side, appears to be chrome. |

I think Oct 65 onwards Mk3 [BJ8] (late model with separate minor lights introduced during Mk3 period); as discussed above, the thumb shows curved windscreen (introduced on new Mk2 convertible, which replaced Mk2 roadster June 62) and convertible hood. |
