Red car in the centre, No. 11. Possibly the front of the car is on the right of this picture... ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-09-21 13:46:24 |

1935 Aston Martin 1.5 litre LM Team Car, one of three built for the Le Mans 24 hour race. The three cars have British registrations CMX601, CML720 and CML722. I think I read the plate in the picture as CML720? |

CML 720 usually described as Aston Martin Ulster, but Tim's other info confirmed. Chassis #LM20 and finished 3rd in 1935 race - http://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/archive/LM20.html . Recent photos - http://www.flickr.com/photos/majorclanger/3837511696/ ; http://www.astonmartins.com/prewar/ulster_1935_team.htm . Now owned by Simon Draper - the publisher of the bible on Ulsters - http://www.palawan.co.uk/Book/Ulster - but priced at levels which mean no-one will ever read it. I think I'll wait for the paperback. |
