Morris-Commercial CV as here..... https://www.britishtelephones.com/vehicles/specialist/360.htm (broken link updated / CV11 30 cwt Utility Post Office Telephones) Morris-Commercial CV11/40, 30cwt Utility in GPO usage 2-Ton in Morris-Commercial designation ('40' cwt) -- Last edit: 2019-11-22 20:26:01 |

I well remember a similar linesman's Morris-Commercial in a breaker's yard on the A30 in the early 1970s. The front lorry seems to have a longer wheelbase than an LC3 box van I bought in 1975 (in preservation, although it later lost its SMU 938). Another example behind - or is one of these M-Cs a CV? On hcvc.com.au I notice an LC3, then fitted with a Transit body and LC5 wheels and hub caps. |

LC 96" wheelbase (possibly lengthened to 100" later?) whereas CV11/40 has a 110" wheelbase (hence 'C11' from the 110" then drop the zero) in case Pierre returns. |
