As you notice that the tailight have amber turn signal and fog light at the rear of this car required by the British law. Our country has only both red and white tailight design. |

This is a 79 euro spec malibu sedan. the grill and the tail lights indicate that this is a 79 and not a 78. the rear fog light isn't just a requirement of the UK but also parts of europe. also notice the mirror on the driver's door is also a euro only design that allows it to fold flat for extra clearance. How would one know which scenes were filmed in the UK and which werein New York? I doubt London has burned out slums that are as bad as those seen on this film, so I'm now led to believe much of the scenery was just a studio set. |

In police car fan's last thumbnail, you can clearly see british-style electric lines and a british-style apartment block. One could argue that it is a Co-Op city apartment, but thats in The Bronx, and the NYC segments were filmed in Brooklyn |

The house on the left in the 3rd thumbnail is obviously a mock-up.It would have been better if it was actually filmed in the New York slums. |
