I wonder if this scene was really filmed in New York... |

I don't think there is a skyline in germany that looks like that |
◊ 2013-03-25 23:28 |
Not. There's no skyline like that here, nor any skyline with a bridge like this. An no no-parking-signs like on the lamppost left. |

It could be a visual effects shot. BTW, what's the thing on the bumper that looks like a number plate? |

Don't know about the thing on the bumper, but I think the US-sized plate doesn't look like a New York plate either, although there were scenes with a Lincoln Town Car, some Crown Victorias and some NYPD-vehicles, as well as a Ford Escape. |

The thing on the bumper is actually the cut out for the trailer hitch. |

The license plate is a New Jersey plate. |

Which looks like the US-version, which is (AFAIK) not allowed in Germany. The regulations here for trailer couplings are very fastidious. |

No, just the bad guy driving through town. |

A bunch of Escalades will be run on the Nürburgring soon. A plate-fellow has spotted the "Cadillac Club Russia" on its 2013 "Eurotrip" from Moscow to the Nürburgring and back. The most participating are Escalades. One has a plate from Udmurtia. |

Oh dear. From Moscow to the Nürburgring-yes. But back? Rather by plane, I guess, because I wouldn't be surprised if these guys produced a lot of scrap metal on the ring. -- Last edit: 2013-05-07 22:25:03 |

I cannot get the pics out of our plate-forum -there is one with the map, a sticker on a door. The way there they drive directly Moscow-Minsk-Warsaw-Berlin-Nürburgring (the fellow took the pics in Berlin), the way back they take the ferry from Kiel to Klaipeda and drive back then via Vilnius and Minsk. |
