Another Jaray-Ley T6?![]() |

I think so, the grille is only a bit different. But not sure if make was Jaray-Ley or just Ley (with body designed by Jaray). 1922/23 Edit: chassis "Ley" - so it should be a make IMO - anyway I start to have doubts. Jaray made more such cars on different chassis. The front window of car in film seems to be a bit different than in Ley at most of pics and the roof seems to be more round... -- Last edit: 2013-05-10 16:23:21 |

Rudolf Ley AG Arnstadt, produced cars using the name "Loreley" between 1906 and 1927, and experimented with the Jaray aerodynamic bodies. It might be that the chassis should be referred to as a Loreley in that case. The car in the very front of the main picture looks to be a Rumpler, so presumably the programme was one on early efforts at aerodynamics. -- Last edit: 2013-05-10 16:06:57 |

But surprisingly the T6 is called mostly as Ley... Anyway not sure if it is this particular car. |
