DS. If I recall correctly, the ID has round headlights. |

ID20 ou DS21 ? -- Last edit: 2013-05-24 16:06:22 |

One cannot quite see the C-pillar covers, but the rest of the trim makes me think it might be a DS21 Pallas. The colour is Bleu Platine (AC632), therefore it is most likely a 1970 or 1971 which are the years in which it was used. IDs, renamed D Special and D Super in 1969, were never available in Bleu Platine; but if it was, a 1970 would have a white roof, while 1971's roof would be the same colour as the body. |

It's probably not 100% origially restored/repainted within the last 40 years. |

Ingo, getting the paint colours right is a rather big thing for most of us Citroaholics... ;-) See http://www.nuancierds.fr/danchorama.htm; that together with the colour charts and codes at both http://www.citroen-ds-id.com/ and www.classiccarcolors.com can be very useful in pinning down the year of a specific Citroën (the last link works for many other brands as well). |

Mmhh, really? I've noticed always a plenty of "semi-original" or even "sub-original" classic Citroens on classic car events. O.k., I'm one of the most intolerant and picky smart-asses about this topic, so my view is a bit ... different ![]() |
