Earlier sightings in ep1.11 - looks fairly ordinary Capri L with narrow wheels so likely to be same as ep1.13 main:![]() ![]() ![]() Very of-its-time sequence of slum clearance area - houses left empty and abandoned in semi-derelict streets where a few people still live. Difficult to imagine this being allowed to happen so leisurely today. -- Last edit: 2013-07-01 02:04:22 |

Hi guys This isn't a genuine GMP Capri. Whether by chance, coincidence, or organisation, it is as already stated a genuine Manchester registration (the "NB" part of it shows that). However, GMP only had 3.0S models in the Mk2 and never any "L" models, so this is a mock up as the "P" reg's were NNB's. It does seem to be a very good replica though and very authentic from what I remember of them, even down to the roof box/light and striping. I think this is why the "L" is covered in red striping, to try and mask it out. Even then, I had to keep looking at it to be sure! As it happens, I own one of GMP's last Capri's, in the form of D443 KVM. Hope this helps. -- Last edit: 2013-08-11 01:12:33 |
