I thought XYY Man was brilliant when first broadcast, but very disappointing now - has dated badly, crap storylines, wild plots, and cardboard characters. Famous as the launch series for Don Henderson's Bulman character (Bulman, Strangers), but at this stage is portrayed as just a weird nasty detective with some half-baked eccentricities. Some old series (such as Sweeney, Sandbaggers, Travelling Man, Edge of Darkness) still keep their magic, but others don't. Captures from DVD which lists all 13 episodes as one consecutive series; imdb splits first 3 eps as S1 and remainder as S2. Filmed in London and Manchester. And a Hillman Husky S2 or S3 (for larger roof gutter) - ep 1.03, 09-00: -- Last edit: 2013-07-01 17:25:27 |

Planes for impdb: 1] small plane described as a Piper Navajo in eps1.04 to 1.06 where it (or a dummy) gets blown up. Should be the same one in all captures. - ep 1.04 - ep 1.05 -ep 1.06 at Manchester airport: 2] ep1.06 - 2 other small planes at airfield supposed to be near London 3] ep1.06 - big planes at Manchester airport - most should be the same BA Super Trident: |

Problem with episodes given here. According to IMDb, season One ==> Ep.01 to 03 season Two ==> Ep.01 to 10 So ep.1.04, 1.05 an 1.06 shouldn't exist? -- Last edit: 2013-07-02 21:24:36 |

As above, DVD lists all 13 episodes as single consecutive series which is what I followed. If you want the imdb system, ep.1.04 - 1.06 are ep 2.01 - 2.03. |

You've missed the 2nd ep1.06 little plane with the funny tail. |
