It's a 1937+ Series III, and it looks pretty big. The choices are 16hp, 21hp or 25hp, they were all built on the same 117.5 inch chassis. There is one other option, the gigantic 25hp limousine, and a problem, there should be twin spotlamps on the front bumper of any of these. |

The Series 111 16HP,21HP and 25HP saloons and pre-war limousines have the spotlamps protruding through the front wings whereas the post war limousines have them mounted on the bumper. As there are no holes visible in the wings I think JFS is on the money with his last option of a post-war 25HP limousine minus its spotlamps. -- Last edit: 2015-09-27 12:08:10 |

1938+ 18/85 bearing a studio registration no? (Please see 'Final Appointment' picture and observations.) Limousines tend to need something like a 141" wheelbase. Have not eaten Monsieur Whitmarsh's book yet and will need to see some evidence before marinading, etc. |

This looks like a LWB 25hp to me. see my latest comment on 'Final Appointment'. |
