With deeper thoughts, you will recognize, that it was a quite idiotic idea of the Skoda-engineer to make this construction, the latch on the left and the opening on the right side (except for LHD countries). So you cannot open the bonnet an a regular-sized one-car-garage, because you need more space on the left side than on the right.
