Shouldn't we list all these T2's as 'Simple truck'. iI think In Holland you may not drive them without lorry/truck-license.. |

The other Mercedes T2 are all listed as Van/MPV (except some ambulances, chassic cab and so), which is correct IMO. It is driveable with a regular car-license, because it's weight is less than 3.5 tons. By the EU-regulations, 3.5 tons is Europe-wide the max.weight for a vehicle to be allowed to drive it with a car-license. Before the EU-equalization every country had its own laws. With a German pre-1999 driving-license you are allowed to drive trucks up to 7.5 tons, even with an monaxial trailer. With the 1999+ license you also need a special annex to drive a car, towing a trailer. Also caused by EU-laws. Same with the 45 km/h Micro-cars as Aixam, Ligier, Reva and so. Everyone hates them here, but the EU-laws have forced Germany to allow them. |

Yes, it's annoying to drive behind a car doing 45 km/h, especially when theres no opportunity to overtake. |

It becomes really annoying in that situation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vWTNselXRM But only for the microcar-passengers.![]() Before anyone starts whining: it was a wreck, carefully chosen by the connaisseurs. -- Last edit: 2013-10-04 17:37:51 |

The only reason I was asking is that we list them in different ways. Many Vans/MPV's Some Simple trucks (if we use van/mpv's then is should be 'chassis cab' I think...) Some Chassis cab Some Ambulance/Single Deck bus Some others |

In Sweden some of this buses are either driven on B licence or C licence. I took it safe before unsafe and marked it as simple truck because you never know wich licence you need to drive one of this. And without the registration number I can´t look it up. -- Last edit: 2013-10-04 23:32:07 |
