1976 Buick Electra (side trim unique to 1976). |

The side trim was available on 1975 models too. (So it can be a 1975 as well). The differences that could be visible from this angle is the front side marker amber reflectors. On the 1975, they're located in the front bumper while on the 1976 model, they were moved to the front part of the cornering lights. I can't see where they are on this frame. And it's an Electra Limited Park Avenue. -- Last edit: 2013-11-04 09:03:45 |

The trim being inline with the port holes seems to be only on the '76 Models: 1976: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 1975: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" |

It was an extra-cost option on both years. I think it was introduced after the first few weeks of production so very early 1975 models couldn't have this molding. It was available on both the regular Electra 225 and the Limited. Here's a 1975 Electra Limited with this option: http://ilan.schnell-web.net/misc/buick/buick.jpg A base model 1975 Electra 225 with this option. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5145/5681542271_bd70a76f5e_z.jpg |

Thanks, all my info didn't show that option, which is why I thought the car was a '76. |
