1965 film so pre Chrysler ( Dodge) take over of Rootes . Its either Commer or Karrier , Rootes Group often badged their municipal vehicles as Karrier. -- Last edit: 2013-11-28 14:42:36 |

There is the text position above the grille which makes me think it is rather a Commer. Our truck pictured here also has 3 grill bars in the middle and double headlights which are less spaced out. Like this TS3 for example: Link to "y2u.co.uk" -- Last edit: 2013-11-28 16:27:06 |

I'm easy, lets go for Commer , I seem to remember the twin headlights have some significance in Commer range . -- Last edit: 2013-11-28 16:32:18 |

'Commer' in high position above grille, Commer CA 1962-3. The twin headlights aligned with the centre of the grille area, the shorter version of the Commer name above the grille and 4 slots in the grille. Not sure, but believe that Karrier Gamecock [WC] had only the single headlamp configuration as it was normally based on the Commer VC. |

It may be a Commer chassis, but who did the refuse collector top hamper? |

I used to work for Glover Webb at their Hamble site, it was great fun, and most interesting work. |

Badge on front is red , could this be Glover Webb badge ? -- Last edit: 2013-11-29 15:54:44 |

Quite possibly, it is all a long time ago and I was part of the Commercial management of the company. The items in my care were military products and did not carry any such badges IIRC. |

Some Karrier gamecocks built in the sixties had twin headlights and TS3 engines,no photos showing examples built in the seventies have yet come to light. The borough of Bedford is one example of users of Karrier gamecocks with twin headlights. |
