About the only thing you can see enough of to recognise is the white Austin K8 Three way van. |

Foreground looks like a Vauxhall Ten-Four, 1937-40/46-47. |

Aren't the drip rail and trim of the one on the left identifying points, if at least for a make and general model? -- Last edit: 2021-09-14 19:23:06 |

http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/vauxhall-h---10hp-four This, as suggested by Chris40, gone but not forgotten, is a detailed analysis of the Vauxhall Ten-Four. The subject vehicle looks as if it is a two door, I can’t see a door handle. The problem is that the two door version had a different style of pressed trim strip, and a boot bustle. Also the war seems to have dashed its prospects. |

Vauxhall Ten-Four Four Door I believe, the two-door is a non starter the rear glass shape is only right for the 4 door. IMHO, the missing door shut-line and hole for the also missing door handle might/could be because of the flat, low contrast image. The drip rail, glass shape and double beading at the belt-line all confirm the Ten-Four Four Door. Although later cars look to have a longer drip-rail as a design change? -- Last edit: 2021-09-16 17:02:39 |
