I agree. I think this model was known as the 20.9? There is some good info here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunbeam_(car_company) - which suggests that the 20 was reincarnated from 1933 as the 23.8, like the black one on this page - http://www.simoncars.co.uk/sunbeam/s20.html - I am now confused so hope we can find a Sunbeam expert! -- Last edit: 2013-12-16 18:23:41 |

Yes, definitely a Sunbeam. I would say it's a 16 ('16.9') with the 18.2 engine rather than a 20hp - it doesn't have knock-on wheel hubs of the latter. The 16 had bolt on wheels with these hubs. Looks identical to the standard saloon of the 1931 range 16. |
