Chevrolet Monza? Buick Skyhawk? |

Seen here, so we can rule out Sunbird: /vehicle_659164.html Has wraparound taillights so we can consider Skyhawk or Starfire even though both are pretty rare. |

Buick Syhawk tail lights |

The Monza, Starfire and Skyhawk all used the same taillight. |

Here are all 3. All are the same. Some of the later Olds and Monzas used different taillights, but the Buick used this one: Buick: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" Chevy: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" Olds: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" -- Last edit: 2015-03-13 22:26:10 |

@ Donovan Savage: you apparently like short answers. "Yes", "no", "close"... Maybe you should develop a bit with some external sources. At least when you disagree with a former identification or idea... -- Last edit: 2015-03-13 23:58:58 |

My first thought was to narrow at least to Chevrolet or Buick, due to the lack of trim. But the Oldsmobile Starfire basic model was "naked" too... Unless someone see an irrefutable clue for a specific model, isn't there a common GM name, for this car? -- Last edit: 2015-03-14 00:31:00 |

differences seems to be the badge's location from the side view but that one don't have any... |

Was the Spyder model the only one that came with duel exhaust as seen here? |
◊ 2015-03-14 01:28 |
i think you're right about the dual exhaust thing but Spyder came with decals and rear spoiler |

I guess your right. He beat the game. |

eLMer It is the General Motors H platform or H-body |
◊ 2015-03-18 21:31 |
H-body seems too much generic, with two-door station-wagon and notchback models... |
◊ 2015-03-18 22:18 |
Why not keeping the GM generic name until a better identification can be made? Buick, Chevrolet and Oldsmobile are GM makes... |

Can we list this as GM [H (RWD)] for GM based H (RWD) platform pending upon dissent? |
◊ 2015-03-19 01:32 |
works for me.... |

Why not just go for Monza as the most probable, and therefore a plausible [H (RWD)] default?? Noted that there's nothing visible on front wing, which seems to exclude the Olds based on all the presented brochure pics. Also does not look like any side trim or coachlines, so Olds and Buick don't look very likely. This can only get definitively solved with better pics - which may be impossible. But can anyone find anything against the Chevy?? |

Since I said Monza in the first place...... |
