I believe that's a "faux cabriolet" with a closed metal roof covered in canvas, just to give the impression of a convertible - but it can't be opened without a can opener. Various Cadillac dealers offered these fancy-looking conversions and the more expensive ones even featured a wavy metal roof. We had a couple of these for sale back in the day and it's the pinnacle of humbug - which is probably why I like these.
