1957+ Standard Vanguard III Saloon , I don't think "Vignale" is beeing part of the name , though it was actually designed by Michelotti and built by Vignale PS: Italian designers had made much better looking car than this thing in my opinion ![]() |

1961 Vanguard Six, designed by Vignale. "Carrozzeria Vignale" was started in 1946 in Turin by Giovanni Vignale it was eventually sold to De Tomaso in 1969. Michelotti worked for Carrozzeria Vignale before starting his own design studio in 1960. Like the "Farina" models of BMC in England, the "Vignale" name was used for the publicity on the Vanguard as the Italian design house (the Standard Motor Company actually assembled the cars). |
