dsl ◊ 2014-02-27 18:23	Not just one, but two of these rare beasts parked together, probably hired crew cars. Filmed on Gibson Street bridge over River Kelvin in Glasgow West End - the university is at the top of the hill in background. The fat bloke is the evil Brond (played by Stratford Johns - Z-Cars, Softly Softly etc) who pushes the kid off the bridge into the river below. The Belmonts are both 85-86 C plate and look identical spec; Belmont launched Jan 86 and these look lowest launch version - 1.3L - with grey bumpers, flush wheel trims.

dhill_cb7 ◊ 2024-09-18 18:00	@dsl per the brochures the L came with the 1.3, 1.6, or 1.6D and they all have the same specs externally. Link to "vauxpedia.net" Removing the motor for now.
