Not just one, but two of these rare beasts parked together, probably hired crew cars. Filmed on Gibson Street bridge over River Kelvin in Glasgow West End - the university is at the top of the hill in background. The fat bloke is the evil Brond (played by Stratford Johns - Z-Cars, Softly Softly etc) who pushes the kid off the bridge into the river below. The Belmonts are both 85-86 C plate and look identical spec; Belmont launched Jan 86 and these look lowest launch version - 1.3L - with grey bumpers, flush wheel trims. |
